WiscNet FTC 2010: CCI Systems Shows Attendees How to Perform a Fiber Splice

While many of the WiscNet Future Technologies Conference attendees’ knowledge of fiber ends at the patch panel they see in their racks, “we’re bringing it to life for them,” said Cory Heigl, Regional Operations Manager Central Division and Lead Project Engineer for community area networks.   Instead of just demonstrating how fiber splicing is performed, CCI is letting attendees try their hand at fiber splicing!

Check out how attendees are getting into fiber splicing at CCI’s booth HERE.

Heigl along with Dan Plante, Engineering Operations Manager and Tony Higgins, Fiber Splicing Technician, were at the CCI booth to guide visitors through the fiber splicing process and discuss community area networks.
