RallyLink Wi-Fi Connects Biker Rally

With cell service limited in the Black Hills, RallyLink Wi-Fi provides patrons the chance to share their rally adventures with friends and family not in attendance.

CCI Systems teamed up with West River Cable Television to design, build, install and support a public Wi-Fi network to keep the over one million motorcycle rally attendees heading to Sturgis, SD each August connected to the outside world.

Just in time for the 75th Anniversary, three public locations were Wi-Fi live; The Buffalo Chip, Broken Spoke and the Thunderdome Sturgis, with the plan to add RallyLink Wi-Fi to even more locations (campgrounds, restaurants/bars, entertainment venues and outdoor public areas) in Sturgis over the next few years.

Below are some pictures the team was able to capture while onsite. As the rally wraps up, we'll be adding updates and video from our customer and RallyLink users...and more fun the CCI crew had.
