Join CCI at the 2010 WiscNet Future Technologies Conference May 10 to 11 at the Monona Terrace Convention Center in Madison, Wis. At their booth, CCI will feature community area network (CAN) solutions and fiber splicing
CCI’s Cory Heigl, Regional Operations Manager Central Division and Lead Project Engineer for community area networks; Dan Plante, Engineering Operations Manager; and Tony Higgins, Fiber Splicing Technician will be present at the CCI booth.
Higgins will demonstrate fiber splicing at the CCI exhibit. He will have an actual fiber splicer and show booth attendees tips and techniques of good fiber splicing as he demonstrates a variety of fiber splicing mechanisms including: optical fiber splicing, OTDR testing and examples of optical enclosures.
Also at the CCI booth, attendees can enter to win a free iPod Touch.
The WiscNet Future Technologies Conference 2010 , sponsored by Wisconsin's Research and Education Network (WiscNet), encourages those who make critical technology decisions for their institutions to consider how technology will transform research and education. On the second day, there will be a workshop about Community Area Networks (CANs) available to participants.
