Shentel Communications located in Edinburg, Virginia is a service provider of voice, video and data services across a cable TV plant, a tradition telephone plant and wireless network. Recently CCI Systems, Inc partnered with Shentel Communications to install an optical transport network. Shentel uses this network as its primary optical backbone connecting nearly 20 locations.

Having given CCI aggressive project timelines, Jeff Manning, Manager of Network Engineering, remarked, "Keeping our project on schedule has been one of the most valuable assets CCI brings to the table."

In addition to keeping the project on time, Manning also comments that CCI did a good job of pin-pointing project requirements and providing a design that works.
