Earn New Revenue, Expand Footprints and Increase Satisfaction

Keith Jones Explains Service Provider Wi-Fi at the 2015 MATSS

Keith Jones, Product Sales Specialist
The Yearly MATSS (Mid America Telecom Showcase and Seminar) is set to kick off October 19-21 in Kansas City, MO, hosted by ATA, MTIA, NTA, OTA and SITA. The annual showcase features the latest in telecommunications technology, support services and product demonstrations.

CCI's Product Sales Specialist, Keith Jones, will be hosting the breakout session "Stake your claim in the Service Provider Wi-Fi Land Grab", Tuesday, October 20th at 10:00 a.m. Jones will discuss ways SP's can utilize Wi-Fi to help attract new customers, retain existing customers, increase customer satisfaction and most importantly, create new revenue streams with very little up front investment.

To learn more about Service Provide Wi-Fi, download our free white paper here or check out what we did in Sturgis, SD for a small telco with a big idea.

Jones, CCI's SP Wi-Fi expert, is responsible for building wireless practices to enable service providers to generate new revenue with Wi-Fi networks. Jones had a successful track record in the wireline and wireless telecommunications industry, where he excelled in sales and sales management leading companies including MCI, WorldCom, and FPL FiberNet. In addition to his time at these companies, Jones also founded two successful companies; Datajack, the first US prepaid Mobile Data MVNO which was sold in 2009 and Edgetech International, which was taken public on the OTCBB Market.

RallyLink Wi-Fi Connects Biker Rally

With cell service limited in the Black Hills, RallyLink Wi-Fi provides patrons the chance to share their rally adventures with friends and family not in attendance.

CCI Systems teamed up with West River Cable Television to design, build, install and support a public Wi-Fi network to keep the over one million motorcycle rally attendees heading to Sturgis, SD each August connected to the outside world.

Just in time for the 75th Anniversary, three public locations were Wi-Fi live; The Buffalo Chip, Broken Spoke and the Thunderdome Sturgis, with the plan to add RallyLink Wi-Fi to even more locations (campgrounds, restaurants/bars, entertainment venues and outdoor public areas) in Sturgis over the next few years.

Below are some pictures the team was able to capture while onsite. As the rally wraps up, we'll be adding updates and video from our customer and RallyLink users...and more fun the CCI crew had.
